Privacy policy
Last updated: September 2026
Devineos takes the protection of your data seriously. This policy describes what information is collected on this site, why, and what your rights are.
1. Data collected
- Orders and accounts: first and last name, email, billing address, company and VAT number where applicable, IP address at account creation or order time (fraud prevention, accounting obligations).
- Audience measurement: anonymous session identifier (cleared when the tab closes), pages viewed, durations, browser type and country of origin. No IP address is stored, no advertising profiling is performed, and no data is sold.
- Contact form: name, email and message content, used solely to reply to you.
- Program submitted for analysis: the binary is sent to our servers, where it is written to a temporary file under a randomly drawn name for the duration of the session; it is erased when that session ends — tab closed, connection dropped, or twenty minutes without activity. Neither the binary nor the reconstructed code is kept. The service does retain a fingerprint of the analysed content, which identifies a file without making it possible to reconstitute it or to learn its name, for one year from the last use.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Order data is processed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations (invoicing, accounting). Audience measurement relies on the legitimate interest in improving the site: it is limited to what is strictly necessary and cannot identify you.
3. Recipients
Data is only shared with the providers required to deliver the service: Braintree (PayPal Inc.) for payment, Brevo for transactional emails, Microsoft Azure for hosting. No data is passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Retention periods
Invoices and order data are kept for ten years in line with accounting obligations. Audience measurement data is kept for twenty-five months at most. Contact messages are deleted once the request has been handled.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL). To exercise these rights, write to sales@decompiler-vb.net.
6. Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Only an authentication cookie (if you sign in), a language preference cookie, and an audience-measurement session identifier stored in your browser and cleared when it closes are used.
Two technical cookies are also set by the server: an anti-forgery token that protects the forms, and an affinity cookie that ties your session to the server handling it. Both are strictly necessary for the site to work and are not used for any tracking.
These documents are written in French. Translated versions are provided for your convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
